It’s not all about paddling the water, as some kayak paddlers have found out.
A new video has come out of the waters of the northern Florida town of Fisherman Village.
The video, shot by two kayak lovers, shows them paddling in the Waikolee River with their kayaks, while paddling their way through the town and around the surrounding area.
“It’s the ultimate paddling experience,” said the kayakers, John and Stephanie Smith, as they paddled past the town’s historic courthouse.
“You get a lot of the views and you get a great view of the city and everything.
It’s a really cool thing to do, to do with kayaks.”
The video is part of a documentary, called Waikoe and the River, that the Smiths are working on.
The two kayakers have kayaks and kayak paddleboards, and are hoping to find the perfect spot to kayak to the Waigahia Falls.
In addition to their kayaking adventure, the Smith family hopes to become better kayakers and have their kayak and paddleboard inspected before they are put on a charter to Waigawahia.
“We’re very excited to be part of the Waigo and Flotilla of the Great Lakes,” said Stephanie Smith.
“We’re not going to let anybody stand in our way.”
